#11 Cozy Condo in the Heart of Downtown Estes

This charming and cozy river-adjacent condo set against a breathtaking rock-face backdrop in the heart of downtown offers easy walking access to shopping, restaurants, gorgeous views, and only a short drive to the park. Amenities include smart TV, WiFi, and communal exterior gas fire pit. This building has shared patio spaces which include chairs, picnic tables and a gas grill. Take your early morning coffee to the upper deck and soak in the Colorado sunshine and beautiful view. This 400 sqft cozy space is ideal for a couple, a family with smaller children, and is suitable for four adults who don't mind being snug. We also have a pack and play available for our younger guests. Check-in is 3pm and Check-out is 10am. Unfortunately we generally are not able to provide early arrival/late departure due to the schedule of our other guests and cleaners. As is common in many Colorado mountain towns, this unit does not have A/C but is equipped with a ceiling fan in the bedroom and there is a portable fan in the closet. We generally don't have complaints from guests about a lack of A/C and suggest opening the windows and turn on the ceiling fan in the evening if it feels warm inside, as the temperatures drop significantly when the sun goes down. For reference, on the hottest day the year in Estes usually ranges from 49˚F - 77˚F. This unit is on the garden level, which also keeps it cool in the summer months, but be aware that there are a few stairs down from street level to get to the front door, there are no mountain views from the garden level, and some noise may occasionally be heard from the condos above. Due to the central location of this condo, there can be some traffic noise. Most guests do not notice or mind but we like to be up front about it. The appeal of this location is its proximity to shopping and restaurants. The street can also be on the busier side, especially in the high season. Estes Park is a beautiful and popular destination, so at certain times of the year (especially summer), parking can be difficult. Parking in front of the complex can be limited during this time but there are a few options: parking passes are provided to you free of charge to the lot across the street for overnight parking. There is also a free city shuttle system allowing guests to park in the much larger parking structure down the road at the beginning of your stay and shuttle to the unit. There are very rare instances when we may need to enter the condo for a repair, to restock something for our cleaners, etc. In this unlikely event, we will always attempt to contact guests beforehand but if we don’t get a reply, we will knock and if no one is there, let ourselves in to do the brief maintenance. If we get reports/complaints of rowdiness, smoking or pets, we reserve the right to check on the property without notice.
