Nagymaros-Visegrád is 40 minutes by train from Budapest-Nyugati, and the accommodation is a 2-minute walk from the train station. We're a kid-friendly, dog-friendly place. In the old town of Nagymaros, within a short walk of 300 meters, self-catering can be comfortably arranged. The house is a weekend house for our own use. Our dog and two cats live there. Good-natured, kind animals. From Monday to Thursday, you can use our 6-person heated jacuzzi in the garden of the house. The fee is HUF 10,000 per day. If there are no guests arriving, it is enough to leave by 13:00. The space The house is located in the center of Nagymaros, in which two apartments with terraces have been built, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Both apartments have a flat-screen TV with over 100 channels and Wi-Fi broadband internet. We help you relax with a detailed guide to the restaurants/shops/program opportunities in the area. The apartments have books in Hungarian/English/German and maps of the surrounding hiking trails. There are many potted flowers in the house, and in case of a longer stay, we would appreciate your help in their care (watering). The house is high on the hill, with extremely varied and stunning views from all points towards the Visegrad Castle, the Nagymaros Church, the Visegrad Church and the Danube. In the evening lighting, the view of the three monumental buildings is very beautiful. At the top of the plot is the observation deck, which is about 70 m2, with garden furniture, fireplace. We provide a cauldron, a grill, a skewer, a grill, and firewood (one basket, approx. 10 kg) free of charge on demand once. It is also possible to simply make a fire without baking/cooking. The kitchen is well equipped: ceramic electric stove with 4 hobs, oven, dishwasher, microwave, water heater, coffee maker. There's salt, sugar, cooking oil, basic spices. Guest access From Monday to Thursday, you can use our 6-person heated jacuzzi in the garden of the house. The fee is HUF 10,000 per day. Free use of two kayaks (2-person + 1-person). Free use of bicycles, we currently have 3 bicycles, photos of them are available. Please indicate the need for these (kayak, bicycle) by 6 p.m. the day before. Other things to note The accommodation can be accessed on a paved, slightly elevated road with public lighting (Szív utca), parking on asphalt, in a small town street in the street in front of the accommodation. There is snow removal and de-icing, so it is easily accessible by car even in snowy weather. By car, approach Szív Street from the Édeske Confectionery (Vasút Street). If you arrive by train, leave the railway platform towards the church. The building of the accommodation, doors and windows are insulated, heating is provided by heat-storing electric stoves, in winter there is pleasant warmth in the apartments. A dog/cat in the apartment in the absence of its owner can only be in a transport box if the dog is not barking.
