Escape to our beloved Maine-style cabin treehouse on 4 acres off a quiet country road, less than 2 hours from the GW bridge. An avid outdoorsman and hunter custom-built this home so it’s surrounded by woods in a way that is unique from other local properties. We’ve kept some of the original touches but also filled it with things we’ve created and collected in our travels over the years. The space Includes: + loft bedroom upstairs, regular bedroom downstairs + wood burning stove fireplace + wraparound porch for excellent stargazing and late night conversations + free coffee, snacks, fresh local eggs, spices, and stocked kitchen basics to do any cooking Guest access Guests have access to surrounding property and entire main level of home. The home is perfect for a couple or a small family. Other things to note Respect the natural resources of this area.. water, land, and animals. Check our airbnb guidebook to see our favorite things to do and read our house manual thoroughly upon booking. A very clean kitty is here when we are. If you are highly sensitive to cats, this might not be the right place for you. We provide some firewood, but you can purchase your own at the local grocery or make a donation to us if you use more than what we provide. Well-behaved pets on a case-by-case basis with a cleaning fee. No parties, events, or hunting on property. Life is slower up here so be patient with our locals and get with the Catskills vibe.
