This is a rustic country house located in a rural setting on the Maple River. The Maple River is a known for it trout fishing. We are located next to a golf course and within15 miles of Boyne Higlands & Nubs Nob ski resorts. The house provides a quiet rustic get away. There is no tv or wi fi available. I live just around the corner from the house and will be available by phone if anything is needed. This is a rural community. There is an Amish settlement just a few miles down the road. You may see horse and buggy going by during your stay. We are located approximately equal distance from Mackinaw City and Petoskey. There is no public transportation available, but if you bring your bicycle we are located within 1 1/2 mile of the Northwestern Country multi-use trail. Bring a canoe and you can float the Maple River. There is access to put in a canoe or kayak from the house.
