Our 1890's home is close to and within walking distance of Historic Downtown Summerville - Local shops, restaurants & parks. Our Queen guest room & private bathroom is located downstairs and is ideal for couples and solo travelers. Breakfast is included in your stay! We have 20 pet chickens and love to cook with our fresh eggs! We will make you feel right at home! The space Do you think private room stays are super weird?? Are you screaming “NO WAY” to the idea of staying in someone else’s home while the host family is still there? We thought it was just us! And turns out…..You are NOT alone! As a guest, coming into our home while we’re still here can feel strange. We totally get it! We’ve had a TON of Airbnb first timers stay here and admit to us that they weren’t quite sure what to expect. SO, instead of waiting to find out when you show up on our doorstep…..let us help make you feel a bit more comfortable and at home now! We greet you with a warm welcome waving you in from the front porch. This is your home while you’re here—Our kitchen, washer/dryer, outdoor spaces, etc…are all available for you to use. We make sure you are settled in your room and have everything you need, but MOST importantly—We ask what time you would like breakfast (*food allergies and/or dietary restrictions are respected). In a hurry in the morning? No problem! We will send you out the door with bfast to-go and coffee (or tea or OJ) in hand! Let me leave you with this important disclaimer. We are NOT for everyone! If you are deathly allergic to pets and/or kids (yes, kids, too…don’t blame you if you are), then staying in one of our private rooms likely won’t be your jam. And that’s perfectly OK! It is CRUCIAL that you have nothing short of a 5-Star Stay and Experience while you're here! Step out of your comfort zone and try something new. You just might be pleasantly surprised and I promise….whatever expectations you may have…we’ll exceed them! Guest access You may come and go as you please during your stay---No curfews or need to check-in with us. You do you! But we’re readily available should you need us for anything…..or to join us for a beer, glass of wine, or hot tea on the front porch or just to enjoy watching the chickens running around! We are as laid back and easy as they come. A little bit of crazy runs in our blood but we promise you will feel RIGHT at home here! During your stay We’re here for whatever you need.
