Relax and Unwind in Wine Country! Your home-away-from-home is just steps away from OldHwy49 shops, restaurants and wine tasting. Tour over 40 Amador County wineries, historic sites, lakes and trails nearby. Then come home to your old fashioned front porch, relaxing back patio, and large kitchen to enjoy cooking together. I’m sorry but we cannot accommodate work crews due to our rental policies. I wish we had a second house on Airbnb that was tough as a bunkhouse so we could! The space A charming Victorian style home, yet built in 2003 with all the modern comforts. Designed and furnished for vacation comfort, not for work crews. I’m sorry, the house is just not tough enough. Downstairs bedroom has King and en suite that also serves as a powder bath from a separate entrance at the foot of the stairs. Upstairs has hall bath, one Queen bedroom with daybed in dormer and one King bedroom, also with daybed alcove. Space works well for three couples or families as each room has extra single bed or space for air mattress or pak ‘n play to accommodate small kiddos. Front porch is one spot for outdoor relaxation. Large private back patio includes dining table and grill. Propane bottle and grill cleaner provided. Please let me know if you run out of either. Guest access Our home is centrally located, minutes away from the famous and historic Shenandoah Valley wine trail, Gold Rush history and outdoor sports. Two cars can be parked in the driveway. Front door key is in lockbox next to the door. We will give you your code for the lockbox a few days before you arrive. And either I or hostess/managers, are always available to help with any access problems. Other things to note Halcyon House is well set up for family travel, with a pack and play in the downstairs bedroom and daybeds in each of the upstairs bedrooms.
