Just me and the cats. — A queen-sized bed and an extra rollaway bed if you need it. — The mattress is rated 'medium-firm' - 98% of people love it, 2% of people say it is too hard. — Your choice of soft, medium, firm or extra firm pillows. — Your own kitchenette area with Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge, toaster oven and microwave. Plates, cups, etc. are provided. — A thermostat to control the temperature in the room. — The bathroom is listed as 'dedicated' as it does not have a private entrance, but it is primarily for your use. — Toilet has a seated heat and a bidet attachment — Tankless water heater means you never run out of hot water. — Free parking on the street — Deep Ellum and Greenville Ave are a 5-minute drive away. — Lakewood Shopping Center with Whole Foods and restaurants is a 10-minute walk away. — Towels and sheets are laundered with fragrance free detergent. Sensitive-skin people, rejoice! ▶ What you don't get (and why I'm cheaper than a lot of other places): — No hot tub — Pets not allowed (to avoid incidents with my cats) — Children discouraged (to avoid potential incidents with sharp clawed cats) — No kitchen access (you have your own kitchenette in the room) — No laundry access — No TV (You're welcome to bring your own TV, I just don't have one in the room) — No streaming services provided (Wi-Fi is available for you to stream your own service to your phone or tablet) — No list of chores. Seriously, cleaning is my job. Just let me know when you leave and that's it. During your stay My room and home office are on the opposite side of the house while you will be at the front of the house near the front door. I work most of the day so unless you happen to catch me in the kitchen refilling my coffee, you probably won't see me much if at all during your stay.
