Serenity Lane Lodging in Amish Country
We're in the heart of Amish country. Just down the road is Der Dutchman, Coblentz Chocolates and a lovely cafe called Rebecca's Bistro. There are a few small shops, a hardware store, an antique mall and about a mile down the road is Walnut Creek Cheese. Head West on state route 39 about 10 minutes and you'll hit Berlin which is full of shops. Head east and you'll hit the local flea market and Sugarcreek which has the best pizza around (Park Street Pizza) and the world's largest cuckoo clock. Our place is right next to the woods where you can enjoy listening to the birds, taking a walk through the woods & sitting by the fire. There is a queen bed, a twin bed, then a chaise and a couch for sleeping. The rental space is a private entrance basement connected to the house where we live. There is a door that leads upstairs that you can lock from your side and it will be locked from our side as well. The side entrance will be your main entrance but there is also access through the garage from the space. The garage is also where our cats sleep and eat, as they are outside cats, so if you’re allergic, please do not enter this space. :) We love getting to know our guests when that is a possibility but we are also happy to give our guests all the space and privacy they need. Feel free to call or text if you need anything as well. We may not always be able to respond right away if we are at work but we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
