Betsy's Cabins at Mt Rainier presents 'Tahoma Vista', a fully remodeled cabin with AC, 2 king beds, AC, hot tub, WiFi, and 2 bathrooms. The space Tahoma Vista Chalet underwent a massive remodel in 2023! Now with air conditioning, all new kitchen with gorgeous granite countertops and new appliances, and 1.5 bathrooms. Tahoma is one of our larger cabins, situated on a corner lot with trees providing a tranquil and private setting to enjoy the wildlife and family of deer that come to visit every day. There is a king bedroom on the main floor with an attached ½ bath. Also on the main floor is a spacious full bathroom with a large soaking tub, and a laundry room for your traveling convenience. The large loft is also equipped with a king bed, and is a relaxing place to enjoy the sound of rain on the roof and gentle breezes through the forest. A TV with a soundbar makes it also an ideal place to watch a movie. There is a small reading nook perfect for kids, overlooking the living room. The living room has a leather couch and loveseat and Roku TV with soundbar for the ultimate movie night. Tahoma Vista is heated and cooled with a ductless mini-split heat pump. The kitchen is well-equipped, with granite countertops, new appliances including dishwasher, and a large bar for dining. Additional 4’ folding table and 4 chairs are available for rent ($50). The wrap around deck attaches to the hot tub with warm night lighting and a picnic table and covered BBQ. If you prefer to enjoy the stars and great company the campfire is divine! Critters come to visit Tahoma Vista daily! The deer feeder draws deer to the property daily as well as raccoons and birds. Deer feed can be purchased when you make your reservation. Guest access whole house Other things to note NO SMOKING - PETS WITH PREVIOUS APPROVAL ONLY Guest Count - Rates are based on guest count. Only guests stated on the reservation are allowed at the cabin, including daytime visitors. Actual guest count must not exceed guest count stated on reservation. Violation of this policy will result in a penalty of up to $250 and/or immediate eviction, regardless of how many nights they stayed. Pets require previous approval.  Pet fee is $100 per pet. Pets should not be allowed on furniture or beds. Dog hair on bedding will result in an additional $150 cleaning fee. Quiet Hours 8pm - 8am. Noise complaints will be charged $150 per occurrence. When campfire bans are in place-if you violate the campfire ban you will be charged $250. Check in is at 4pm. If early check in has not been arranged, arriving at the cabin prior to 4pm will result in a $35 penalty for every 30 minutes prior. Please remember to be timely with your check out. If prior arrangements for late check out have not been made, there will be a $35 penalty for every 30 minutes past check out time. We are in a rural area with fragile infrastructure and both power and internet go down frequently. There is a Ring camera on the front door only. Only video, no audio. Tampering with, covering or removing will result in a $250 penalty and/or immediate eviction.
