Description

We are a Mongolian community specialized in the provision of travel and hospitality services in the UNESCO World Heritage Orkhon Valley in Mongolia. We are committed to giving you the best possible travel experience in this amazing region of Mongolia. We designed our tours by experiencing them ourselves, making sure that they are the most enjoyable and exciting experiences for you. The space Orkhon camp located in the heart of Orkhon River’s green valley, listed as world heritage by UNESCO and only 7 km away from Mongolia’s largest waterfall, 35 km away from Tuvkhun Monastery, 50 km away from the Naiman Nuur (Eight lakes) and 104 km away from Kharkhorin. This camp of 20 yurts offers a beautiful setting and a serene space to observe herds of horses, goats and sheep coming to drink at the river. Orkhon Camp is made up of 20 fully equipped gers, a restaurant, as well as showers and toilets. Our restaurant and bar serve delicious Mongolian and Western dishes, as well as all sorts of beverages. Guest access The restaurant built in the shape of a yurt serves excellent food prepared with a lot of attention and accommodating different eating habits (Vegan menu prepared on request). A particular attention is given to the preservation of the environment. The Camp is equipped with solar panels, solar water heater and dry toilets. During your stay You can also take part in the July celebrations of the Naadam Festival annual traditional festival, with many music shows and dances, horseback racing, wrestling match, archery and the racing festivals (Yak Racing and Yak Polo). Other things to note The camp generates many benefits for the locals: job creation for the local population, food supply from the Nomads and local traders (dairy products, meat) and installation of 40 double waste bins on the main tourist sites of the valley, thus allowing good environmental practices. Many cleansing operations are made each year. The camp finally uses ecological equipment and sensitizes the local population to good practices.
