Water Tower Retreat

The Water Tower is tucked away and nestled among redwoods a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. This is a place to disconnect and reconnect with the surroundings. To unplug and decompress from busy life. About 5 miles from our town of Elk and a nice coastal drive 14 miles to the historic village of Mendocino. Our calendar is open 3 months in advance. The space Social @elkcaliforniaforestretreat *We are taking extra efforts with our cleaning and washing for extra hygiene precautions. *Please make sure you do some research on local restaurant hours before you get here as there is limited cell service in the area. If this is unavailable, please check out our other listing “forest camping hut” **Important Consideration** before making a reservation. *Please discuss the details with us before your stay if you are using this as a photoshoot promoting any lifestyle brand, products or services. Inside The queen bed is located in the second-floor loft space. Steps to this space are more like a ladder (very steep) stairs and may be a problem for some individuals. Just remember to go up and down facing them... like a ladder :) *The water tower seating is lower to the ground. Please see pictures for reference. *There is no wifi or cell services. Incase of an emergency, we have a phone for you to use. :) The space is equipped with: - Day bed seating - Queen Casper bed in 2nd floor lofted sleeping area - Full bath with standing shower - Kitchen: There is a portable single gas stove, compact fridge, pan, pot to boil, cutting board and basic kitchen tools. There is a pour over coffee and some coffee for you to enjoy as well. This is a small kitchenette setup for light cooking, it may be difficult to plan something too complex. -Books/games and a speaker for music. - Propane gas heat source. Guest access Guest are free to explore around the forest. The property Our forest retreat property is shared with our other guests and our home. The unit The water tower is attached to the garage and fenced off with a dedicated outdoor area that is for your private use. Other things to note There is no wifi connection and cell service is very spotty. If you are a person that needs to be connected, this is not the place for you. Please look at the map before making your final decision. The distance from town: Mendocino - 25 min (14.6 miles) & Elk Town - 11 min (5.4 miles) There is a phone to use for any type of emergency if needed.
