Country Retreat

Our home is very secluded as we are tucked away in the woods, but still within 10 miles of Carbondale, and 3 miles from the Shawnee National Forest, and Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. State parks located such as Giant City 20 miles, Fern Cliff 30 miles, and Garden of the Gods 50 miles are nearby as well. The space The property is multifunctional when it comes to your lodging needs. There is a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, guesthouse, private lake, and room for campsites and RV's. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire 25 acres with exception to the main residence, garage, the northern lake bank. You are welcome to bring any non-motorized watercraft. Other things to note We encourage everyone to either bring what you will need or arrange for us to provide it for you.
