The space Important: Please Read Before Booking Our resort is the perfect getaway for 2–3 families or a large group of friends. To ensure a smooth stay, please take note of our capacity and seasonal access. Capacity & Fees: • Sleeps up to 15 guests: 10 on comfortable beds, 5 on floor mattresses. • Bedrooms: 4 rooms, each with a private bathroom (plus 1 common outdoor bathroom). • Extra Guests: Fees apply for more than 10 pax (₱1,300/person) and for daytime visitors (₱600/person). • Pets: We are pet-friendly! There is a fee of ₱2,000 per trip (maximum of 3 pets). • Check-in/out: 3:00 PM Check-in | 12:00 PM Check-out. • Security Deposit: ₱1,000 cash deposit is required upon arrival (payable to the staff on duty). • Accuracy: Please ensure the guest and pet count is accurate at the time of booking. ================================ Seasonal Access & Parking (Crucial Info): Access to the villa depends on the time of year due to the river crossing: • Dry Season (March to July): A temporary wooden bridge allows cars to cross the river directly to the villa (₱100 toll fee). You can park inside our property. • Rainy Season (End of July to February): For safety, the bridge is dismantled. 1. Parking: You must park across the river in a secure lot (₱150–200/night). This is an 8–10 min walk or a 2-min tricycle ride from the river. 2. Crossing: You will cross the river via a wooden raft (balsa) — see the last photo in our gallery (₱10–30/person). 3. Final Leg: Once across, take a 3–4 min tricycle ride to the villa (₱60–200 depending on the group size). Navigation Tip: Please search "Casa Balario" on Waze only. Do not use G-Maps, as it may provide inaccurate directions for this area. Shuttle Service: We also offer a roundtrip shuttle service at an additional cost for a more convenient journey. Guest access When you book with us, the entire resort is yours to enjoy in total privacy. • Fully Equipped Kitchen: Feel free to whip up your favorite meals! Our kitchen is stocked with the essentials you need for a home-cooked feast. • Local Dining & Delivery: If you’d prefer to relax, we can bring the taste of Rizal to you. We offer a selection of delicious Filipino dishes sourced from nearby local restaurants. Simply place your order with our staff on duty, and we will have it delivered directly to the house (please allow a 1–2 hour lead time). Water & Amenities: To get you started, we provide one complimentary 5-gallon water container for the dispenser per booking. If your group requires more, refills are available through our staff for ₱100 per container. Other things to note Connectivity & Technology We are proud to offer high-speed internet via SpaceX’s Starlink (installed April 2023), with typical speeds ranging from 30 to 100 Mbps. It’s perfect for sharing your vacation photos or light remote work. • Important Note on Signal: Because of our beautiful, secluded location, cellular reception for Globe, Smart, and Sun is very limited (0–1 bar). Please be aware that if the Starlink satellite encounters a technical issue or extreme weather interference, we do not have a backup Wi-Fi connection available due to the lack of cellular signal in the area. Please keep in mind: • A Private Home, Not a Hotel: We ask that you treat our space with the same love and respect as you would your own. • Maintenance & Staff: While we will always do our absolute best to resolve any issues ASAP, please note that we do not have staff living on-site 24/7. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure your stay is comfortable.
