L'Hacienda is a villa in the heart of the Rodriguaise forest at the start of footpaths and 15min by car from the most beautiful beaches of the island. Peaceful place on a garden of more than 2 hectares, tranquility assured, magnificent view of the Valley and infinity pool... The whole team will take care of you. Welcome to L'Hacienda! The space The charm of L'Hacienda lies above all in its U-shaped ground floor design and invites you from all parts of the villa to its varangue (veranda). Indeed all the rooms give direct access to the veranda so vast and flowery. This independence of the rooms is a hallmark of Creole houses of beautiful designs on all the tropical islands and suggests spending time outside the house to appreciate the view as well as the garden while being sheltered: the veranda of L'Hacienda will be your place of sharing! The infinity pool is a major asset in this flowery garden! Guest access The "plus" of L'Hacienda is its living/dining room opening onto the interior garden with its fireplace. We will bring you wood for your aperitifs around a fire so pleasant in winter (June-August) and in the off-season (September-November and April-May) and even in summer when the temperature becomes milder with tropical rain. If you're a good cook, the one at L'Hacienda will persuade you to go to the local markets for your dinners. Lena and Maudeline, the maids and cooks on occasion, will be there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A pool table, a carrom and other board games await you in the library for young and old. An infinity pool will also be an asset to enhance your stay at the hacienda! Finally, the pavilion of L'Hacienda (below the villa) has a terrace, a living room, a bedroom and an outdoor shower where you will have the impression of being in the garden while you are well hidden from view! Other things to note We can offer to organize your stay with you! - A rental car or scooter or a transfer upon your arrival at the airport (be careful driving is on the left) - Lena can take care of lunch or dinner for around €17/meal (excluding the purchase of ingredients). - Mélanie, your hostess, knows all the beautiful things to do in Rodrigues and can offer you boat trips, hiking, places to visit... - The house is secured by a fence and cameras, so don't worry if the villa remains open in your absence. To know that Rodrigues is a safe place, everyone knows each other, kindness and hospitality are part of the DNA on this island, so not theft!
