At ZionZuri you stay with Mambo family with three kids and the artist community of Gezaulole. Here you can experience Tanzanian life in a simple familiar environment. This room on the first floor with 2 balcony has an amazing view over the home garden , family house , outside kitchen and workshop.... When you come down you will meet with musicians and painters and of course a lot of kids. Enjoy the fresh eco-garden and home made vegetarian food or learn how to use the outside kitchen yourself! The space All the furniture is handmade out of a local wood called Mawale, and the building itself out of Mawale in combination with bamboo and different woods. This creates a very warm and beautiful atmosphere, and makes the room very cozy and cool. Fans are not even necessary because of the location of the rooms right under the trees and the many windows. A very fresh environment is guaranteed! this Room is displaying Natural Home Décor just made at Ecovillage, bed Sheets, cushions, curtains, paintings, carpets . .. The king-size bed is comfy and protected with a proper mosquito net, if you have kids we can put an extra bed in the room (for a small price). Please pm us to know more! Toilet with Shower is private and towels are provided. room has 2 balcony where you can enjoy sunset and sunrise, or moonrise and moonset. Outside area is manly a big garden full of papaya trees, vegies and seasonal organic plants , a shady area under a huge tree, family house with its special architecture design, outside kitchen and dinning area and the Workshop where different arts happen . Also every Friday there's drums and dance class guided by Shine Africa Teachers open to all community and our guests, class is on donation basis. Breakfast and all meals arrangements should be done at the arrival. Since we are dependent of seasonal available products our menus can simple vary so just check out the special menu of the day. Shade area under the tree, free car park, During your stay We love to interact with our guests and welcome them to join in our daily life. For example it's possible to learn how to sew on a manual machine and get advice on African fabrics. On Friday and Sunday there are drum & dance classes we truly recommend to join, and for small price we prepare delicious, fresh home cooked vegetarian meals (pre-order). we love to walk to the beach so you will be most welcome to join us. If however you prefer your privacy then there is no problem either, feel free!
