"La Sirenita" Casa Frente del Mar

Beautiful ecologic house, very rustic, located less than two hours north of La Serena in the "Reserva Nacional de los Pinguinos Humbolt", right at the entrance of the quiet fishing village of Caleta Chañaral de Aceituno, with markets and fresh bread, the best place in Chile to see whales. Luminous and warm with a well equiped open kitchen, double bed & 3 single beds, bathroom with hot water, outside BBQ area to savour the delights of the sea. A rustic place to reconnect with nature. The space Small refridgerator ( as well as a refrescarator that cools food with the ocean breeze). No TV. Only WOM and Claro phone signals. Comfortable double bed on the first floor. Wheel chair accessible. Second floor mezzanine with its balcony looking out on the Pacific, can perfectly host 3 people (2 single beds and a fold out sofa bed). It can welcome two more people on camping matresses. Sheets and towels provided. Guest access You can use any place on the property: BBQ zone, living room, kitchen, patio with grounded boat to sit, relax and watch the birds and foxes, large private pebble beach. The surroundings are beautiful, relaxing and quiet; perfect for a walk or a swim in the refreshing water of the sea. Please do not bring pets as the house is located in a natural reserve for wild animals. Other things to note The property is located ten minutes walk from the dock where the boat tours leave. Cabin is heated with fire wood. Some logs available but might need to bring some extra.
