There are hotels and restaurants 15 mins away in the town of Siavonga. Siavonga is both a fishing village and holiday destination. We are on the banks of the Kariba lake, 300klm long, a dammed man made lake in 1958 stopping the waters of the Zambezi river. Below the dam the river continues via Mozambique to the indian ocean. The Zambezi passes through the Lower Zambezi national park about 80 klms from our plot. Here you will find plenty of Africas wildlife. Also the legendary tiger fish for those anglers looking for a challenge. Victoria falls about 8 hrs by road. Lusaka 3hrs. Guest access Guests may walk around any of the grounds and utilize the games room (darts ,billiards, exercise walker). bonfire on the beach, trampoline or outdoor BBQ (Brai). We also have a variety of boats for hire. (9ft to 40ft.)
