Southern Charm - White Oak Manor
Description
Come experience lodging chock full of Southern charm sprinkled with modern amenities that you will not find in any hotel in our area. The White Oak Manor is a 1920’s home built by the first county extension agent in the Greek revival style that was so popular during the turn of the century. We are located in the Historic District of Jefferson, the Bed & Breakfast Capital of Texas. Come take a step back in time when life was not so fast-paced and hectic. We invite you to come enjoy our signature “warm and friendly” atmosphere. Relax and “sit a spell” on our front porch and relish the peace and quiet where you’ll most likely see a family of squirrels jumping in the tree tops or the bright red cardinals flying about. The space The Southern Charm is on the second floor at the back of the house. Its stained-glass windows add color and charm to the charming decor. French doors open to the petite balcony so close to the huge Pecan tree you could almost reach out and touch it: an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee. All year long, cuddle up in the king-size bed and relax to the ambiance of romantic flames flickering in the electric fireplace. The bathroom features a wonderful claw-foot tub for a nice rejuvenating soak. Or take an invigorating shower in the corner shower. Special features of the Southern Charm room include an electric fireplace, a balcony, king-size bed, claw-foot tub, a separate shower for one, and an armoire. Guest access Guests can enjoy the dining room, parlor, front porch with many seating areas and a porch swing and the whole yard if you wish.
