My name is Navitalai Caba (please call me Navi) and I am living with my wife (Assy) and my four kids. My village is Nakalavo village and its located 13km away from Sigatoka town. ' We would love for you to stay in our home and experience the true fijian life. Once you arrive at the village, we offer a Kava Ceremony. It is very important to buy kava to offer to the chief and elders of the village. Half a kilo of the roots is recommended. Kava is our traditional drink made from a plant root. The space Our home can accommodate up to 6 people. We have 2 double beds and 1 bunk bed. The rooms are traditional fijian style, with fly nets and fans provided. My home is located right at the end of the village, close to the chief's house. We are very close to the river, which we use for mussels diving and swimming. Ýou are welcome to walk around the village, everyone is very friendly. Nearby, there is a school, farming area, fijian massages and good hikes that lead to a lovely view. We provide convenient pickup and drop off service from airport, hotel or any place in the island for a reasonable fee. Please contact for further details. We also provide all inclusive packages for multi day activities, transportation including your meal options. Guest access You will have your own room, but all other parts of the home are shared with the family (bathroom, kitchen...). You can park your car by our home. Other things to note If you want to experience the real fijian life and move away from hotels and motels, please come to the village and experience this with us. In the hotels, you will be eating the same menu as back home, so instead come to the village and try our home-cooked fijian dishes. See below for further pricing details. You will have no regret in choosing our home for better experience. KAVA CEREMONY Kava is our traditional drink made from a root plant. I recommend you to buy kava root from our local market. You will present your kava after dinner and enjoy a cup or two of it with the villagers. They will love you to ask more questions and they will love to share our culture and traditions. Kids in the village love to play with you and show you around in the village so, if you would like, you can buy them snacks or lollies just to make them happy too! MEALS All cooking is done by us at home. We can even provide vegetarians meals if you interested. We provide three meals a day at a cost, with free coffee and afternoon tea. Meal charges will be discussed on your arrival, but per person per day averages 80FJD. DRESS CODES 1) Ladies have to wear long skirts, sarongs , dresses or something to cover their knees while walking around the village. 2) No hats and sunglasses 3) Shoes are not to be worn inside the house, only outside.
