30 DAYS minimum, FEMALE only and CAT friendly please. The room is on GROUND FLOOR facing the front yard, including you there will only be 2 occupants in this entire floor. There are big windows, double bed, sofa, desk, chair and printer inside the bedroom. You can work peacefully here. This is a unique STUDIO-sized bedroom in a Brooklyn townhouse, super rare size in NYC. It's in a 3-story detached townhouse with its own front and backyard. THERE MIGHT BE CONSTRUCTION NOISE DURING DAYTIME. The space My room is the size of a studio and furnished like one. You will have the privacy of living alone. It has a full size bed, sofa, plus desk and chair. You can lock the bedroom with a key. It's on the ground floor. There are 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms on this floor. There is wifi, continuous hot water, great water pressure for shower, proper lighting and heating throughout the house. You will feel comfortable here. Towels, clean bedsheets, goose down comforter and duvet cover are in the drawers. The comforter, king size pillows, as well as the decorative square ones on the sofa are all 100% goose down/feather. If you are allergic or have asthma you can hide them in the drawer. Guest access Half bath across my room (cold water sink only there). And a shared bathroom (with just 1 other girl) with cold & hot water sink, bathtub and shower down the hall. Shared kitchen, light food prep/cooking only please. During your stay Unfortunately I won't be around to help you in-person, but you can always call or text me if you have any question. The room is only available when I'm traveling :) Other things to note HEALTH & SAFETY All adults in this building (only 3 families here) are vaccinated, but not the kids, so please book only if you are not having covid symptoms. No parties, no gatherings please. The room will be cleaned before your arrival. ----------- You will be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with a young lady. Because of that, I highly prefer female guests. When I get requests from male guests, I usually ask her permission first, which could take a little bit of a delay. She's NOT there to assist you, she is very busy. If you have questions please ask me instead. There are CATS in the building, they don't stay in my room. If you leave the bedroom door open long enough they might get in. And if that happens you can lure them out with the treats that I left in the bedroom. Trust me, as much as they like you, they prefer food! ;) The bedroom has an antique solid wood double sliding door (see the pic, an ordinary door is only 3/4 that height). Naturally it's heavier than most doors and locking it will get some getting used to. But it's such a grand entrance! :) Remember, this is NOT A HOTEL. While I try to make your stay as pleasant as possible, I can't possibly anticipate everything like hotels do. There is no breakfast served, but you're welcome to make your own and clean up the dishes after that. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO BUY THINGS FOR YOU. (A guest once asked me to buy her a mattress topper! When I refused, she made up stories and left a bad review). If I don't have what you need, then this might not be the suitable place for you. Please ask ahead of time. Please don't have gatherings or party at home. We have to keep noise to minimum after 10pm. All my neighbors are very quiet. So please be respectful and let them sleep well. NOT SUITABLE FOR: 1. Guest with leg problem or fear of height, because I have a deep 'Japanese soaking tub' instead of a regular bath tub. 2. People ultra sensitive to noise. This place relatively quiet for me, but like all ground floors there is more foot traffic in the hallway than in the higher floors. My upstair neighbors have kids.
