“RVR” is 5 peaceful acres in the country overlooking the Sioux River valley, just 3 mi north of the Sioux Falls city limits & I-29/I-90; 4 & 5 mi straight north of the Sanford Pentagon & Premier Center. Guests enjoy a SUNRISE each morning from all 5 bedrooms, the 30’x40’ common area Great Room/Kitchen, lower level British pub & parlor, 14’x40’ patio, 12’x40’ deck, covered deck, enclosed porch, & the 12’x16’ back deck. The last breath of every SUNSET is seen from half of those areas! Enjoy! River Valley Retreat is 2 mi from Renner, with its historic landmarks, baseball field, the eldest church in the state, and 2 great restaurants. “Strawbale Winery” is 1.5 mi away on the gravel roads! Sioux Falls is 3 mi south with entertainment, fabulous restaurants, and the historic Falls...around which this area was built. Guests can book the entire house addition or individual bedrooms, sharing the common areas of the 30’x40’ Great Room/Kitchen/pantry/laundry, ADA 1/2 bath and exterior ramp, lower level with a British pub, games room, and second laundry. The weight machine from the garage will soon be part of the lower level laundry room, as well. As your host, I live on the premises in the adjoining west side of the rental area...which has been my 20-year existing residence above the garage. I enjoy meeting my guests (feel free to read my “Cabin in the Country” listing’s 5-star reviews since Feb 2018), if schedules allow! Through AirBnB, I have met fabulous people from around the globe—of which I enjoy traveling myself! It’s fun to swap stories, near & far! As a former Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, I can’t rave enough of how warm-hearted, progressive, & charming Sioux Falls has become over the past 25 years. Renner is rich in history. Dell Rapids is enchanting with its shops, classic theatre, and rose quartz rock once transported all over the world. I provide a listing of places to see & restaurants to try!! As a musician with lots of musician friends, you may also be treated to great live music at my retreat from time to time! If you’re flying in/out of FSD Airport & need a ride, I can transport you in my large SUV vehicles. “Strawbale Winery” is 1.5 miles on the gravel roads...so within walking distance. TO KINDLY HELP ME WITH QUICK CLEAN “TURN-AROUND” PREP FOR NEXT GUESTS: 1) Please pull back comforters and strip sheets & blankets off beds & put them in center of bed. 2) Please RINSE dishes before putting in dishwasher. Food particles at the bottom when they’re done (or still stuck to dishes) is gross & time-consuming to re-clean. 3) If traveling w/ small children, please sweep up floor crumbs & dispose in garbage. 4) Please take out garbage to proper receptacles by Porch handicap ramp.
