Green Sanctuary is the second floor apartment in a two unit apartment building. It is a bright cheerful one bedroom unit with a large covered balcony located on the grounds of the famous Egyptian house. The apartment is comfortable for 2 people but will accommodate 4 with the living room couch converting to a bed. The property is conveniently located with plenty of off street parking. Washer and dryer in the unit all new kitchen bathroom appliances and flooring You have access to the entire apartment balcony, grounds and off-street parking. You will have the place to yourself but we are available by phone and will check in periodically. Our neighborhood is a mixture of residential and business. It is quiet and peaceful here as the property is surrounded on 2 sides by a farm and sits back from the road. There is plenty of off street parking and public transportation runs on our street. A car, however is preferable to best enjoy the area. We are close to major roads and the interstate, historic sites, Christiana Mall, University of Delaware, Wilmington and Philadelphia airports. Historic Old New Castle, located nearby, has quaint shops and restaurants a park and walking paths on the water and to the Wilmington Riverfront. This apartment is on the second floor and will require going up steps. The Egyptian House Estates includes this apartment, the first floor apartment listed as Blue Tranquility, and the Egyptian House next door. The house is available room by room - listed as King's Chamber, Queen's Chamber and Castle Loft. Park by pointing your vehicle toward the road. We allow smoking outside only - legal tobacco products or vaping. Recreational cannabis use is illegal in Delaware. We don't allow cannabis on the property. We don't allow medical-use cannabis here either, since we don't have the privacy required by law - we are a public space.
