Description
This is old Irish goods carraige which ran on Irish railways from 1930 to 1970 was rescued from a neighbors back garden which i was helping to clean. It was covered in ivy, and weeds (see pics)In its reconstruction i have used about 90% recycled materials apart from the new electrical and plumbing fittings.Its hot water and heat is generated from solar panels,is a small with 2 single beds suitable for 2 people traveling the Alantic way, or visiting Galway and Cliffs of moher/Aran Islands. The space it is walking distance from the local shop and friendly pub. The local pier is a 15 minute walk where you can enjoy a walk along the shore or a dip in the sea. The location is wonderfully positioned between the city of Galway and County Clare on the wild atlantic way, meaning there are plenty of surrounding activities to tempt you. The Burren is just a short drive from Ballinderreen, and walking trips to the burren can be arranged. The vibrant city of Galway can be reached within 25 minutes' drive of this lovely Ballinderreen cottage, hosting a variety of festivals and celebrations throughout the year and offering a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants. A wonderful, homely place with unique character, providing romantic accommodation for couples looking to explore this area.There is a local hurling stadium nearby where Irelands ancient game can be watched Guest access Guests have private parking shown on Airbnb app and private patio with chair n tables. Other things to note its small and cosy.suitable for 2 people only.Its ideal for a one night stop on wild alantic way,or to visit the burren. most of the energy comes from Solar panels
