Tucked away on 3 acres of horse property in the city of Rancho Santa Fe / Elfin Forest, these lodgings are located in San Diego’s North County. The available space is a furnished, self-contained 1-bedroom Casita with a full kitchen and on-site laundry. Nearby is the Elfin Forest Preserve, known for its extensive horse & walking trails. In a 20 minute car ride, you can be at neighboring Legoland, Del Mar Racetrack, the beaches of Encinitas / Carlsbad, or on your way to downtown San Diego. The space The location affords the peace and quiet of country living, yet close enough to the various attractions in and around San Diego. San Diego Wild Animal Park, Del Mar Fairgrounds, Old Town San Diego, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquariam are only a few of the attractions within a 20-30 minute drive. This is the perfect location for an extended vacation, short-term housing or a quick weekend getaway. Guest access Welcome to Stosic Stables! You are free to wander the property. There is a lovely table, where guests can have their morning coffee, meals or a glass of wine. It is straight down the pathway, exiting from the casita door that faces the main house. It overlooks our large horse arena. 26 animals live at Stosic Stables. Please do not feed, let out or touch the animals unless Holly or William are accompanying you. They are all pets, but caution should be used when introducing new people and especially small children to any animal. We will gladly take you on a meet and greet that is sure to be memorable. Please be careful, as there are several on-going projects and there are areas under construction. The pool is being refurbished, but should be done in time for summer. There is a flash light in the casita for your use. The night sky and stars are beautiful. You will hear many animal sounds at night. Just watch your step and enjoy our beautiful forest. Please keep the main gate closed after entering and exiting. There are predators in our forest, who are a danger to our animals. Help us keep our beloved animals safe and keep the property secure.
