"Little House in the Big Woods"

WE'RE BACK!!! We have a permit again after 4 years of not being able to accept short term bookings due to Measure T in So. Lake Tahoe. We were SuperHosts on Airbnb from 2014-2021. Permit # 332601 The space Our comfortable two-story chalet with its large exposed beam ceilings and large brick fireplace is modern, but still has the charm and cozy feeling of a cabin. Centrally located close to skiing, boating, hiking, biking, casinos and great restaurants. Walking distance to the Y and biking distance from Camp Richardson Beach!! The inspiration for the name "Little House in the Big Woods" was a children's novel by Laura Ingalls Wilder published in 1932. The book was based on memories of Wilder's early childhood in the Big Woods near Pepin, Wisconsin, in the late 19th century. The children of a frequent guest gave our home this name and we liked it so much that we adopted it as our own. Our "Little House in the Big Woods" has three full bedrooms:Room #1-King Bed (upstairs),Room #2-Queen Bed (downstairs), Room #3 Two Bunk Beds(upstairs) plus a large walk-in closet upstairs that has been converted into an extra sleeping space "Woody's Den," a favorite among our Jr. guests. It has a full size bed with a slanted roof and no windows. Woody's Den is less ideal for adults. It's not truly a bedroom, but can be considered a sleeping space. Pls feel free to ask if you have questions. Our cabin is well suited for one larger or two smaller families. Our maximum permitted occupancy is 6 adults. If 4 adults we can easily accommodate up to 4 children, with possible room for one or two more juniors. Contact owner to discuss your situation. This is not a party cabin!! There is only paved/permitted parking for two vehicles which is strictly enforced by the city of SLT. Guest access House is fully furnished. Kitchen is updated with gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all necessary cooking utensils and dishes. Other things to note Dogs are allowed, but subject to approval by the owner. There is a $150 pet fee per pet, per stay. No more than 2 dogs allowed. Paved off street parking is available for two vehicles. Registration Details 332601
