Kleinemonde beach and surf is highly recommended for fishing, surfing & kite surfing. The river is great for canoeing, paddle boarding and water skiing. Both offer good swimming options. The dunes make really fun sand boarding, the beaches offer good walks to Clayton's Rocks, The Point, Three Sisters and Fish River Lighthouse. Kleinemonde offers all around family fun! Turning North on to the R67 travel to Bathurst the quaint 1820's Settlers village where there are several historical, craft and eateries to visit. Further on, Grahamstown is an approximate 40 minute drive. This city is host to Rhodes University and the annual Grahamstown Arts Festival, a 10 day smorgasbord of art, culture, music, craft and food.
