Description

Family run guesthouse located at a small farm in south of Iceland. We redid the old cowshed as a guesthouse and have 4 rooms available for guests. In the guesthouse there is a common area where our guests can get to know each other. The famous volcano Hekla is close by as well as one of the biggest salmon fishing rivers in Iceland. We are only an hour and a half by car from Reykjavík (about 120km). The space The room is spacious and cozy with a private bathroom. The common area is spacious and bright and includes a dining hall and a sitting room. Right next door there´s a stable where you can meet our beautiful horses. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen including fridge & freezer. Guest access Your room, the common spaces and the area outside the guesthouse are yours to explore. We can also recommend some lovely walks around the area. During your stay We live right next door so most of the time we are available to help. During the night, emergencies only please :) Other things to note We have 4 rooms available at the guesthouse. Check dates for availability. If this room is booked, some of our other rooms may be free.
