Pickup and drop off to and from the airport can be arranged by the host which is an additional fee of $65.00 per ride which saves you $20.00. TOURISM RE-OPENING UPDATE: NO QUARANTINE PERIOD FOR VISITORS Effective, November 1st, The Bahamas will be removing the 14-day quarantine period, emergency orders will be revised to reflect that change. Visitors must have their negative RT-PCR five days taken ahead of their travel and must have the travel visa as well. Anyone coming into The Bahamas should print out their results from their negative RT-PCR test. The health visa will also be used to assess your current health status. As of November 14, all visitors will also be required to pay for Travel Health Insurance, the cost of which shall be included into the travel health visa: 🟢 $40 for visitors staying up to four to nights; 🟢 $40 for citizens and returning residents; 🟢 $60 for visitors staying more than four nights; 🟢 Children under 10 will not be required to pay. If visitor test positive and exhibit symptoms, they will be immediately evacuated to their home country. Visitors and returning residents staying more than five nights, will be required to take a rapid antigen test - those tests will be "easy, quick and will yield results within an hour."
