Designed specifically for Airbnb guests visiting the Youngstown Area, this warm and cozy smart-home with comfortable beds, black-out curtains, security measures, & modern features is a perfect fit for almost everyone. Professionals on business will find a quiet & effective work station (i.e. mesh wifi, printer, etc). Families with babies or dogs will have the amenities they need (i.e. pack & play, kennel, etc). Active travelers will enjoy other fun features (i.e. kayaks, bikes). Welcome Home! Security: This is a safe area but we like to go overboard on home security for the safety of our guests. The house is equipped with a touchpad lock in the front, lockbox in the back, external surveillance system, CO2/Smoke Detectors, ADT security alarm. The backyard is fully enclosed. You may use the alarm system at your own risk. We can arm and disarm from our phones if you wish to not use it at all. Professionals: 1) There is mesh Wifi and many surfaces to park your laptop throughout the home. 2) This smart home is updated with voice control of lights, thermostat, and more so you can enter with ease and focus your energy on your duties. We provide a touch-screen control & guidebook with more detailed information on how to give accurate commands and there are automation-command labels throughout the house. 3) A variety of electronics and a range of soft to firm pillows should help make your work trip convenient and comfortable. 4) Use amenities at your own risk. Leisure Travelers: 1) Guests benefit from 2 free passes to the Historic Lanterman’s Mill tour and a discounted rate at the Mill Creek Park Golf Course (we will book tee time). 2) Bikes and Kayaks are available for exploring Mill Creek Park & Lake Newport (1/4 mile walk). Dogs on leash are permitted on the trails. 3) There is a Smart TV c/ streaming services, Backyard Deck c/ Bistro Table & chairs, Outdoor fireplace and chairs, outdoor games. 4) Use amenities at your own risk. Kids: 1) We have a child and have done our best in making it a safe place (baby gates, outlet covers, etc) so hope you feel safe there as well. We have many infant & child amenities such as a pack & play crib, additional airbeds, and more listed in our guidebook. 2) There is a youth bike and helmet in the garage. Children are not allowed in the garage or basement (areas not yet safe for children). 3) Stocked with snacks & drinks so they don’t get hangry when you arrive. 4) Use amenities at your own risk. Dogs (cats are not allowed... sorry): 1) Up to 2 dogs may stay at the house per booking. There are very few exceptions to the 2-dog limit (i.e. service and show dogs). No weight limit. 2) Dogs are NOT allowed on any beds or couches. We have dog beds, bowls, leashes, etc. 3) We have large and medium-sized kennels. We ask that your dog be kenneled while you are not home. When outside, dog must be on a leash. 4) You will be responsible for ANY dog damages including urine, ripped/chewed up furniture, pillows, linens, carpet, curtains, etc; door/window scratches from paws (nose-prints are acceptable). 5) Use amenities at your own risk. The health of our guests & housekeepers is of the utmost importance. In addition to following Airbnb’s Enhanced Cleaning Protocols, carpets have been removed or replaced, all vents have been professionally cleaned, and a HEPA air filter is available to accommodate guests. Guests may access the entire home except for the storage areas of the basement that are curtained off and the locked cleaning closet in the master bedroom. The garage is available for parking a car but the garage door must always be closed. We will be readily available by phone but will unlikely be physically present. Most people enjoy the privacy. Lanterman’s Village is a safe & sleepy Cape Cod-style neighborhood in Cornersburg within walking distance to Lanterman’s Mill & Lake Newport in Mill Creek Park (1/4 mile). Guests of the Lanterman's Chill Airbnb may take advantage of a discounted rate at the Mill Creek Golf Course (we will book tee time) and 2 free entry passes to Lanterman’s Mill. Close proximity (1.25 miles) to restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, & churches. Cornersburg is centrally located between Youngstown, Boardman, Canfield, and Austintown (hence the 4 corners), all less than 5 miles away. Guests visiting can drive to most popular destinations & local cities within 15 minutes. The WRTA Bus stops a block away every hour during the day. Please check updated routes and times AIRPORTS: Youngstown Regional (YNG) is a half hour drive from the house. Pittsburgh International (PIT) & Akron Canton (CAK) are an hour drive away. Cleveland Hopkins (CLE) is 1 hour & 20 mins away. MAJOR CITIES: New York City and Chicago are 400 miles away, Washington D.C. is 300 miles, and Detroit & Niagara Falls are a little over 200 miles. CAVEATS Please note that this house has stairs and does not meet the requirements of the Federal accessibility standards. While the house is fully serviceable in the livable areas, we are still working on the cordoned-off areas such as the basement.
