Area is very quiet and great breeze and sun . Area is close to historic sites close to personal homes of well known leaders/celebs of the country, amazing local bars near by, swimming pools off of Azzolini Highway. Other things to note If you need to be accompanied from the airport, book to host to accompany you from airport to accomodation either by road commute ( if daytime) or water ferry. Please plan to arrive during daytime hours to airport as accomodation by road is 2 hrs away. Change money to Leones small amount at airport and rest can be done in the city. Please don't use bank cards preferred cash and arrange for bank visits to withdraw money and download money transfer apps prior to coming to Sierra Leone ( incase local ATM doesnt work). Tours to the beaches and excursions are seperate fees outside of accomodation. Must purchase own food and host can assist.
