Jah Freedom Inn, Negril is centrally located just up the road from the Canoe Bar and MX3 Entertainment Center on Westland Mountain, in Negril. The area is one of the only real neighborhoods, uniquely with locals who have lived in the Negril area for generations. The Jah Freedom Building is 8 yrs old and as such is in new condition. There are more rooms that will be built as time and business develops further. The House is clean, comfortable, and has a laid back vibe. This is very conveniently located only about a 5 minute walk or a 30 second drive from the center of Negril. The house is a 3 story house with magnificent views overlooking Negril Beach. The property is beautifully landscaped with flowers, fruit trees, and a small farm where fresh veggies, spices, and fruits are grown. The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms and a wash room and the 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms (one is my own) a living room, kitchen, and laundry room. The 2nd floor consist of 2 recording studios and the office, a lobby, a powder room and a kitchen for the guests. The 3rd floor kitchen is available for cooking and preparing meals or we can arrange meals to be prepared for our guests at reasonable prices. The upstairs guest rooms share a bathroom and the downstairs bedrooms have their own separate bathrooms one with a standing shower and one with an enclosed tub/shower. All 4 deluxe rooms rooms have have air conditioning and ceiling fans and are extremely comfortable to sleep in... The house has Maid Service and we can arrange laundry services as well for a nominal charge. Local Taxi, tour guide, transportation as well as motor bike, motor scooter , bicycle and car rentals can be arranged by your host at reasonable rates. Rooms range in price from $ 85 - $125 per night depending on the number of guests, the length of stay and the season. There is a vegetable garden with many of the local vegetables growing. Guests are welcome to use the entire house and land. Other things to note We have 2 small dogs and a talking parrot that live with us. They are extremely friendly and happy to hang out with our guests. The Parrot sings and talks in the mornings and evenings. There is a housekeeper 3 or more days a week who is happy to clean the guests' rooms as long as they leave the room unlocked for her. She will clean and lock up when she is finished. There is a locking drawer in each room for the guests to keep their passports, money, phones, etc. This is a no tobacco smoking guest house but we can accommodate smokers on our roof deck or in the gardens.
