Kim's Beach House in Mindoro
Kim's Beach House in Mindoro
Description
Kim's Beach House is located between Puerto Galera and Abra de Ilog. The village is called Udalo. The space You're going to live in a 3000sqm lot in a small village. There is a beautiful landscape with clear water rivers, reefs for snorkeling, waterfalls, mangyan villages and much more. It's possible to rent a tour guide (P250 per person), who can show you all the beautiful places of Occidental Mindoro. Just ask Noli :-) Guest access There are lots of items you can use during your stay: - an electric fan - a shared kitchen with: - refrigerator - gas stove - toaster - water heater - rice cooker Other things to note The house is located directly on shore. The village has approximately 200 inhabitants. Most of them are Philippinos but there are also some foreigner (Australian, German, French, ...) nearby. If you come with friends, it's also possible to camp on the beach or ask for an extra mattress for a small fee (240p ) . We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, cooked by my aunt. We also have a small convenience store open 24/7 for our guests. How to get to our place: If you come from Manila, first take a bus to Batangas Pier (1.5 to 2 hours, P180). There you have to take the ferry to Abra de Ilog, which is another 2 hours (up to 3 hours, P170, departure times: 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6:30pm, 10pm). When you get off the ferry in Abra de Ilog you can see small taxi boats (bangkas) at the right side of the pier. A shared bangka is P50 per person. If you choose to take on of those, you might have to wait until there are enough people going in the same direction. We can also arrange to pick you up from Abra de Ilog. Depending on your needs its either 500p for a boat with a capacity of max 3 people or 700p for a boat with max 5 people. The bangka ride takes about 20 minutes. If the waves are too high, the bangkas don't depart, so the only way to get to our place is by walking. In this case, you can get a tricylce from the pier to the small village of Sigman (approx. P200). Then you have to walk approx. 3 km on the beach. If you come from Puerto Galera: Take a jeepney or a tricycle to Talipanan beach and walk to the very right side of the beach to the italian restaurant. From there you can either take one of the bankas there or you can call my aunt and arrange for you to be picked up. This is 800p for a 3 person boat and 1000p for 5 person boat. You can alternatively also be picked up in White Beach, Puerto Galera. The prices are 1000p for a banka with max 3 people and 1200p for a bangka with max 5 people. Ps. The smaller boat does not have a roof.
