Carnaza Island @ Comendador Residence!

Our house has a nice ocean and mountain view. Psalms restaurant is just downstairs. We have 3 common toilets , 5 bedrooms with 11 beds total. Free wifi if the connection is good but may not be available at all times, the ONLY 24/7 electricity & water in the entire island. See our tour packages in the photos section. Reservation for rental room is $10 which will be deducted after you paid the full amount. Our rate is 300 pesos per person. The space We have 4 bedrooms available in the second floor and 1 bedroom in the first floor. Each two rooms can occupy 2 people. The other 2 rooms can occupy 4-6 people with a bed extension. We have a total of 3 toilets, 2 shared toilets in the second floor and 1 shared toilet in the first floor. Guest access Guests can cook in our kitchen with minimal charges . You may also eat in the restaurant which is conveniently located on the first floor. You can arrange a romantic dinner in Psalms restaurant. You can go for swimming anytime on the white sand beach which is just 10 meters away from the house. Boats and motorcycles for sightseeing and tour are available 24/7. You can hand wash your laundry anytime you want or you can request the service. Wifi is available if the connection is good but may not be available at all times. The network connection is not steady. During your stay My parents Luz and Fred, my brother Ken and sister Karen can help anytime to assist your requests and needs. Other things to note Carnaza Island is a turtle-shaped island located in the northernmost part of Cebu, Philippines and is a part of Daanbantayan municipality which can be accessed via a boat ride in Tapilon Port .It is a secluded island which will be a perfect getaway for tropical destination. The island does not only have white sand beaches and snorkeling spots but it’s also filled with caves worth to be explored, a swamp, a lake (sort of), a pristine forest, a twin beach and a runway. HOW TO GET THERE? Head on to Cebu North Bus Terminal and ride the bus/ van bound for Maya-Bagay or you can simply ask and the conductor around the bus terminal and tell them that you’re going to Tapilon Port. Travel time is around 4 hours and fare is ₱212 (airconditioned bus). Take the first trip if you’ll be only doing day tour in Carnaza Island. Once you arrive at Tapilon Port, ride a boat going to Carnaza Island (₱200 pesos per way). First trip is at 8 am and last trip is 3 pm, but it would actually depend on the condition of the sea. You can hire a boat for round trip and sightseeing for only 6,500 pesos for maximum of 10 people ( contact number 09438012728 for Pastor Fred). From Tapilon Port to Carnaza Island travel time is 2 hours. Fun activities that you can do while in the island: 1. Carnaza Eco Park – is privately owned by Osmena family. It has 20 woodsheds that can occupy 2 people. It has an entrance fee of 200 pesos per head and the room rate of the woodshed per night is 200 pesos. You may bring camping tents if you like. 2. Cliff jumping from a hill anywhere in the island. 3. Go snorkeling but you have to bring your own supplies. 4. Trip to La Manok or Manok- Manok Island. This place is somewhere like El Nido’s Snake Island in Palawan. It is basically a pair of islands connected by a sandbar and is only 30 minutes away from Carnaza Island. 5. Trip to Dakit- Dakit or Maria Island, an island characterized by its colid rock structure with a whole in the middle. It’s roughly 10-15 minutes away from Carnaza Island. You will be mesmerized of the rock formation. 6. There are 18 coves or small bays to visit ( skull cove, Panlao, Kaelena, Kang Gorio, Liog- Liog, Baliwanan and Candioniso, to name a few). 7. Take photos at the helipad nearby Carnaza National High School. 8. Visit the 2000-ft runway for private aircraft located on top of the hill nearby skull cove.
