The space Upon arrival at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, you'll be greeted by Cutty, your driver, and new 'best friend'. Cutty has a wealth of knowledge about Jamaica and will be happy to share the lore of his land as he drives you to Cabarita Lookout. On arrival, you'll be greeted with a rum punch by Sharon, both a fabulous cook and meticulous housekeeper. Cool sea breezes and breathtaking views will erase any memories of work or travel. Cabarita Lookout sits on top of the community of Lookout, adjacent to Noel Coward's estate, 'Firefly'. The home is built on three levels. The first level has two bedrooms, the Sunrise Room and Seascape Room, featuring queen beds, along with a futon that flips out into a full size bed. Each of the bedrooms has its own bath with shower. There is also a full laundry room with washer and dryer on the first floor. The second floor features the main living area with an open concept dining room, living room and kitchen. The dining room table seats 10 to 12 comfortably. There is a large bathroom on the main floor with dual shower heads. The main floor also features a 12x32 sea view terrace with dining tables, chairs and a gas barbecue grill. Upstairs you'll find the master suite, Lookout, which features a king bed and claw foot bathtub perched high on a pedestal offering magnificent views. A bathroom adjoins the suite. A private 12x16 terrace offers a dining table and professional massage table ... not to mention a view you'll always remember. Cabarita Lookout offers the comforts of home including a 14x32 pool with surrounding tiled decks, a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and standard coffee maker. We offer high- speed wireless internet and a wireless bluetooth speaker, a Smart TV that allows you to watch anything on Netflix, DVD player, washer and dryer and a large gas barbecue grill. Air-conditioning is featured in all three bedroom suites; large ceiling fans and cool sea breezes assure comfort all year round. We also have a professional massage table. Enjoy a relaxing massage on the terrace while taking in the cool sea breeze. We'll be happy to schedule you an appointment with local third party board-certified masseuse who specializes in deep tissue massage. Massages typically start at $50 (USD) per person. Our rental rate includes up to 6 people. Over 6 there is a $50.00 (USD) fee per extra person, per day. For groups over 8, please contact the owner for transportation arrangements. Guest access Cabarita Lookout is located in relatively close proximity to James Bond Beach, Dunn's River Falls, Dolphin Cove, The Blue Hole, Mystic Mountain and Fern Gully. For the more adventuresome, try rafting the Rio Grande, exploring Cockpit Country or deep sea fishing with local fishermen. Or just kick back and relax around our sparkling pool. Other things to note We ask guests to treat our home as their home away from home. Rental Fee includes: *Up to 6 people. Over 6 there is a $50.00 (USD) fee extra per person, per day. For groups over 8, please contact the owner for transportation arrangements. *One round trip airport pick up / drop off from Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (please note that the distance from Montego Bay to our villa in St. Mary is a 2.5 hour ride). After that, our driver Cutty is available to take guests anywhere they wish to go during their stay within a 2 hour radius of the villa, but guest must pay for fuel. Please note that our airport pick up / drop off is guaranteed for Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay ONLY (if considering flying into Kingston please inquire with owner PRIOR to booking your flight. If we do not have availability, you will be responsible for paying for your own taxi transport which is up to $100-$150 U.S. both ways, payable to taxi driver). *First dinner and first breakfast. The dinner is a traditional Jamaican chicken dish and the breakfast is similar to a "continental" breakfast with coffee, juice, eggs, local fruits and bagel or pastries. Guest is responsible for notifying owner well in advance of any dietary restrictions. After the first two meals detailed above, guest is responsible for purchasing their own groceries. Ms. Sharon (our cook/housekeeper) will prepare breakfast and dinner daily with groceries the guest has purchased. Ms. Sharon will gladly sit down with you to assist in planning your meals and making your shopping list.
