Other things to note The barge must be booked in advance, as the demand is high to take vehicles to the island. On the island you can buy bread, vegetables, there are two stores where you can buy merchandise. Bringing drinking water is recommended. Once in the commune of Futrono, go to Puerto Futrono, there you board the Epu Huapi Barge, which has a capacity for 4 vehicles and 60 people. The trip lasts 45 minutes approx.
