Tropical Paradise at Shannas Bay, Cat Island

Tropical Paradise is located on a very secluded beach at the North end of Cat Island know as Shannas Bay. If you are looking for seclusion, beautiful beaches, perfect snorkeling, awesome sunsets, and amazing stargazing then this is the place for you. The house sits so close to the water that you will be lulled into the best sleep of your life listening to the waves roll in. The space Tropical Paradise is know as Pods which are separate cottages all joined together by wrap around decking. The main living area and kitchen are one building in the center of 2 large bedroom on each side. The house has just recently gone through renovations that have updated and brightened the perfect property in the perfect location. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the guest bedroom has 2 queen beds. Each bedroom has a private bath located behind the bedroom with an open air shower. There is a laundry room located to the back of guest bedroom. Guest access The ocean and the long beautiful beach where you rarely see another person. Other things to note Tropical Paradise is located approximately 30 miles from New Bight Airport and 6 miles from Arthur’s Town Airport. At this date New Bight is the only Airport with commercial service. Western Air flys to New Bight Airport with 1 flight 5 days a week. Makers Air flys from Ft Lauderdale directly to New Bight 5 days a week. I recommend renting a car for your stay. Taxi’s are very expensive and are based on per person rates.
