With 1 king bed, 4 queen beds, 4 twin beds, 4 sofa beds, and 4 queen air mattresses, our home has many sleeping arrangements available (Plus Pack 'n Plays for the babies!) Linens, towels and bedding are all provided so at our house you can sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation! Not only that but the house has central heating/air conditioning plus a gas fireplace so you will stay warm and cozy during winter and nice and cool during those hot summer days. The house is on an enormous private and wooded 1.5 acre lot with plenty of space to play outside and enjoy the outdoor fire pit, barbeque, deck, and year-round hot tub under the stars. The house has two dining areas; a large formal dining room and a smaller dining area in the kitchen plus a very modern and well-equipped kitchen with luxury granite countertops and many useful cooking appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, blender, electric kettle, and more. The kitchen also has a dishwasher for your convenience so you can cook without having to worry about a big clean-up afterwards. The game room is one of the most loved parts of our home! It’s the perfect place to play billiards, ping-pong, or board games in the evenings or simply lounge in front of the TV. Great for relaxing after a long day at one of the many water parks or ski resorts nearby! Our guests also have the option to pay a small fee to use the amenities at Emerald Lakes between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The amenities include many idyllic lakes and beaches perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing and use of the community center during open hours. At the community center you will find a heated indoor pool, grill with dining area, game/arcade room, and locker rooms complete with saunas and shower. Also spread throughout our community you will find an outdoor pool, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and a sledding hill. Optional community amenity costs are $20 per person for a day pass; $30 per person for a three-day pass; and $50 per person for a 7-day pass. Note: Children 6 and under do not require a pass but must be accompanied by an adult with a pass. We're always available for anything our guests need, whether it be something related to the house or tips and suggestions. From our home in Emerald Lakes it takes less than 10 minutes to get to nearby supermarkets including Weis Markets, ShopRite and a huge Walmart Supercenter for your late-night shopping needs (open until midnight). We are also very close to restaurants, drug stores, gas stations (open 24 hours a day), and more yet you will feel worlds away from everything at our spacious and peaceful property. There are also many fun farm stands nearby that you can visit from May to November to buy local fruits and vegetables or pick your own pumpkins in the fall! Another popular place nearby is Country Junction, the world’s largest general store, where they have their own arcade and mini bowling alley. The Poconos can be enjoyed during any time of year and there are always fun activities for the whole family like indoor waterparks, ski resorts, or historic towns like Jim Thorpe which has a unique scenic train. Especially fun for admiring the colors of the trees’ leaves during fall! We recommend planning a vacation that is at least one week long so that you'll have plenty of time to get to know the Poconos and all the wonderful attractions our area offers. Our home is located in the beautiful peaceful community of Emerald Lakes. When you’re spending time at our home you will feel like you’re in your own secluded paradise yet you're only minutes away from restaurants, supermarkets, drug stores, gas stations, shopping, and some of the best four-season attractions located in the Poconos!
