Lynch's Cottage is located in the grounds of Ballycurrin Estate, on the shores of Lough Corrib. Lovingly restored quaint cottage of the twelfth century keeper of Ballycurrin Estate is ideal for escape from hustle and bustle of busy, modern world. If you looking for a tranquil and peaceful holidays, the cottage is a place for you. The space Hide away behind spectacular views and grounds that will make you feel lost in time. It has 2 ensuite bedrooms; the master bedroom with four poster bed has views of Lough Corrib. The family room has 2 double beds & bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped & there’s a cosy sitting room with open fire & TV. There is a car parking space directly outside the cottage. Families are welcome. Spacious cottage can accommodate comfortable up to 6 people. It's an older property in rural Mayo so adjust your expectations accordingly. We are 15 minutes from the nearest town, so car is recommended. Guest access This two story cottage shares the grounds with The Nest cottage, Ballycurrin House & Lake House. There are ruins of the 12th century castle on the grounds. Please contact us if you would like to book multiple properties. Guests can use our private pier for swimming or launching boats or kayaks ( possibility to rent kayaks on site). There are many walking and cycling trails just short drive from the property. Other things to note Property is in perfect location to explore Connemara, Westport, Aran Islands or climb Croagh Patrick. Please note, the cottage is close to the lake and surrounded by trees, so communing with nature is unavoidable.
