The space Our private 600 sq ft, 1 bedroom garden apartment is all yours. We love color, vintage needlepoint and floral prints, artwork by Chicago artists and our stuffed mule deer named Tony. Crash on the queen size bed in the bedroom or snooze on the couch. There's a camping cot with extra sleeping pads stored in the bedroom closet if you need extra extra sleeping space. Kitchen includes coffee maker, toaster, full size oven and stove, full size fridge, basic dishes and pans and the essentials: salt, pepper, coffee, tea, honey, hot sauce, bottled water. Just out the back door to your place is our building laundry room, where you can wash and dry on premise. The bathroom has all the basic bathroom amenities you'll need. You'll have your own entrance to the apartment with a key code so you can come and go as you please during your stay. This unit is in a 4 flat building with an apartment directly above and built in 1915 so noise may travel between you and your neighbors. Please be courteous and we ask the upstairs neighbors to do the same. Guest access You will have access to the laundry room, right behind your apartment and the front stairs. The backyard is accessible and available to you, but its also where our tenants and their dogs hang out sometimes, FYI. They're good neighbors for you to have while you're in town. Other things to note Our place is a great jump off location for the green line and 290 and getting downtown is a breeze, but there really isn’t a whole lot to walk to from the apartment.
