A beautifully appointed 120 year old converted Stone Church in the Hidcote farming area - 50 kms from the Magnificent Giants Castle Mountain Range, Highmoor and Kamberg reserves- a heavenly place to stay for the discerning guest. The space St. Andrews is ideally situated for the nature and outdoor enthusiast as it close to the Drakensberg with Highmoor, Kamberg and Giants Castle Nature Reserves, all of which are within 50 kms. These reserves have some of the best preserved rock art in the central Berg. The Brit, Boer, and Zulu battle sites namely, Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and Blood River are within easy driving distance. The Midlands Meander has become well known to the rambling tourist for cultural exploration (Mandela’s Capture site and arts and crafts) exceptional cuisine and country exploits. Other activities such as trout fishing, mountain biking and horse riding are on offer in the Midlands. Guest access St Andrews main chapel and the annex is reserved exclusively for one group of guests/ per booking. The place is serviced daily from Monday through to Saturday, however this is optional. There is no additional charge for this service. Other things to note There are few other places to stay in the world where the beauty of a timeless unique building, which reflects our past, stands in such perfect splendor against the backdrop of the majestic Drakensberg, a natural world heritage site.
