Welcome to Coconut House! A large house on multiple levels offering various private and common spaces. Ideal for families or a group of friends. The house is just off the seafront, and a 3 minute walk from the beach. The space Having undergone a complete renovation in 2013 and a recent update, the house offers comfortable accommodation for 8 people (10 in a pinch), with four bedrooms and six bathrooms (four en suite). The house is arranged on multiple levels around an internal garden and is designed to provide each bedroom with private space as well as ample common areas and roof terraces with sea views . The house is open and airy. In addition, each bedroom as well as the common areas are equipped with ceiling fans, ensuring a breeze throughout the year. Guest access We only rent Coconut House as a whole, so the entire house will be available for you only. Our doorstep is just off the main square with access to great restaurants, and is a 3-minute walk to Peponi Hotel and the beach! We can organise a boat to pick you up from Lamu airport, please let us know in advance if you would like to do so. Other things to note There are many activities on the island which we can help to organise: sailing trips on traditional dhows (boats), water sport activities, going to local food markets with our chef in Lamu town, shopping artisan goods, attending yoga classes, at-home massage, etc. Most importantly, you are guaranteed tranquility and relaxation in this beautiful Swahili village.
