Other things to note Gaafaru Island have the second most largest reef in Maldives so you can find nice beaches and full of marine creatures. Many shipwreck are found in our housereef. Some of these ships include SS Seagull (1879), Clan Alpine (1879), Aracan (1873), Erlangen (1894), Lady Cristine (1974), Crusader (1905). Remains of the shipwreck still lies there on the reef, providing home for corals and varieties of other marine lives, and making the sites popular among divers.
