Casa Sophia is an Over the Water House featuring 2 Private Queen Bedrooms each with Private Bathroom. Light & Airy with Ceiling Fans and Sliding Glass Door to Casa Sophia's Over the Water Deck and Private Dock. Located in the center of town of Bastimentos AKA Old Bank. Easy access to water taxis by our own dock or walk a few minutes to Bastimentos' Public Dock. The space Being over the water is beautiful with easy access, and the view is spectacular. Most of our guests will be enchanted by the sound of water surrounding them, but if you are a light sleeper you may want to consider bringing ear plugs. It's not unusual for people to jump off the dock and enjoy a refreshing swim close to our deck & dock although it's important to always be aware of Water Taxi Boat traffic. Water Taxis can be hailed right from our private dock for easy access to & from Bocas Town or Red Frog Beach. Because our home is over the water it's not appropriate for families with kids under 12 unless they are thoroughly water safe. Guest access There is a market across the path from Casa Sophia. A small space will be available in our refrigerator for guest use. The kitchen is unavailable for guests however. During your stay Sophia & Rene are excited to help our guests fully enjoy their stay. They are experienced Hospitality and Activities Hosts. If you are interested in surfing, surf lessons, snorkeling and zip lining. They can help plan trips to many of our famous beaches such as Red Frog, Palmar, Polo, Star & Bluff Beach or enjoy a short boat ride to Isla Solarte's Blue Coconut Lounge or a day trip to Isla Zapatilla.
