The space Set within the peaceful Pine Mountain Lake community just 25 miles from Yosemite, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath forest cabin is designed for families who want space to play, relax, and spend time together. With a dedicated kids’ den, multiple sleeping areas, and indoor and outdoor game zones, the home creates an easy rhythm between adventure days and fun evenings back at the cabin. This is a home built for game nights, deck dinners, and easy Yosemite access, with space for everyone to gather and unwind together after full days outdoors. Guest access You’ll have full, private access to the entire home during your stay. Nothing is shared. This includes all bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, and the spacious outdoor deck. Settle in, stretch out, and make yourself completely at home. Your stay also includes access to the exceptional amenities within the Pine Mountain Lake community, including the lake and sandy beaches, a swimming pool with mountain views, tennis and pickleball courts, scenic hiking trails, an equestrian center, and a public golf course (green fees apply). Community Entry Fee Pine Mountain Lake is a private, gated community. A one-time $50 entry fee per vehicle is required upon arrival and paid directly to the HOA. We do not control this fee. The pass is valid for 7 days and provides access to all community amenities listed above. Nearly all rentals in the area require this fee, which helps maintain the grounds, facilities, and security throughout the community. Weekend Beach Parking Note On weekends, the marina parking lot is reserved for property owners. Guests are welcome to park along nearby streets or use other public beach lots just a drive away, making beach access easy and convenient. Other things to note NO RESERVATIONS IN 2026! Visiting Yosemite National Park (Year-Round Information) Our property is located approximately 25 scenic miles from the Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite National Park, one of the most convenient access points to the park. From here, you can expect: Yosemite Valley in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, including El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and Tunnel View Hetch Hetchy Reservoir in about 45 minutes, a quieter area with dramatic scenery and excellent hikes Tuolumne Meadows (open seasonally) in about 1.5–2 hours, known for alpine lakes, domes, and wildflower-filled trails The drive to the park is straightforward and scenic, with no mountain passes or difficult roads. Entrance Passes & Fees (Always Required) All visitors entering Yosemite National Park must have a valid entrance pass. The park does not accept cash at entrance stations. Standard entrance passes typically range from $20–$35 and are valid for 7 consecutive days Annual Passes and America the Beautiful Passes are also accepted Important for international visitors: Non-US residents age 16 and older are required to pay an additional $100 per person entrance fee unless entering with an Annual Pass or America the Beautiful Pass. Children under 16 enter free. Planning Notes Lodging, camping, wilderness permits, and some activities inside the park require advance reservations and often sell out Entering the park early in the morning or later in the afternoon can help avoid congestion Park fees, passes, and reservation systems are managed by the National Park Service and may change Planning ahead and staying informed will help ensure a smooth and enjoyable Yosemite visit. Pine Mountain Lake Amenities Guests Can Access 1. Private Lake with Beaches Pine Mountain Lake is a serene 202-acre lake with three sandy, swimmable beaches: Dunn Court, Lake Lodge, and Marina Beach. Each has picnic areas, BBQs, volleyball courts, and restrooms. The Marina also offers kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals in summer. Please note: The marina parking lot is reserved for property owners on weekends. Guests can park along the nearby street or use other public beach lots in the area. • Swimming allowed (no lifeguards) • Boat rentals: kayaks, paddleboards, party boats • Fishing permitted (catch-and-release recommended) 2. Seasonal Pool The PML Pool is open seasonally (typically Memorial Day to early fall) and offers a clean, gated space with loungers, umbrellas, and a snack bar. Great for kids and relaxing afternoons. Located near the tennis courts and pickleball areas. (Which is a 10 minute walk from the house). 3. 18-Hole Championship Golf Course Designed by Billy Bell, the PML Golf Course is open to the public and a huge highlight for golf lovers. Guests can book tee times, rent carts, and enjoy The Grill, the on-site restaurant and bar with lake views. 4. Tennis & Pickleball Courts Multiple well-maintained courts are available for both tennis and pickleball. Guests can use the courts on a first-come basis or reserve in advance at the main HOA office. 5. Equestrian Center For a Western adventure, the Equestrian Center offers trail rides (seasonal), riding lessons, and horse boarding. A unique and memorable way to explore the Sierra foothills for riders of all levels. 6. Archery Range The archery range is available for use with your own gear. It’s a fun and quiet escape into the pines and a favorite among families and hobbyists. 7. Hiking & Nature Trails The area is surrounded by trails that wind through forested areas and offer views of the Sierra Nevada. Some trails connect to local streams and scenic viewpoints. 8. Gated Community with Security Pine Mountain Lake is a gated HOA community with 24-hour security, giving guests peace of mind and a sense of privacy. All guests must be registered at the gate, and you’ll receive access instructions prior to your stay.
