What is A Piece of Ground? A Piece of Ground is a Pod hotel (with private rooms), bar, and food spot! We are located in the back of beautiful Punta Gorda Town, in the country of Belize. All our interior spaces are Air Conditioned and adorned with some of the finest woodwork. On-site you will find the food spot, and rooftop bar, where we serve food, drinks, and play movies/music videos on the big screen every evening. We strive to leave no doubt whatsoever that this is the place to be! The space The Toledo District of Belize could accurately be described as off the beaten path. And we love it! With no real tourism infrastructure in place, you get to explore ancient Maya Cities, beautiful waterfalls, and incredible caves in a way you simply can’t elsewhere. Couple that with the rich cultural landscape and you simply have to visit! The Toledo district of Belize is the only place in the world you will find Maya, Creole, Garinagu, East Indian, and Mennonite communities all in one place.
