You’re a short drive from breweries, restaurants, downtown, and the airport — yet tucked into a quiet, family-friendly area. Unwind in the backyard under our beautiful sycamore tree with hammock swings, or walk to nearby parks, including a local dog park. We’re happy to share recommendations to help you make the most of your stay. The space Welcome to our sunny, cozy home on the Southeast side of Grand Rapids. Nestled in a tight-knit neighborhood, we’ve stocked the house with everything you need for a comfortable stay — whether you’re here for a weekend, a family visit, or a longer stretch. The main level includes: → Three comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed → A full bathroom → A fully stocked kitchen featuring a custom mural by a renowned local artist → Dining area and living room with Smart TV The finished basement offers: → A second full bathroom → Additional hangout space with a second TV → Three classic arcade games and a second custom mural by the same local artist — a fun, creative bonus guests of all ages enjoy Optional extra sleeping space is available upon request (twin bed or air mattress). Backyard & Outdoor Living One of our favorite features is the large sycamore tree in the backyard. It provides wonderful shade and lots of character. Like any mature tree, it occasionally drops leaves and seed pods — we like to think of it as a bit of nature’s confetti that adds to the laid-back vibe. The patio is perfect for: → Morning coffee → Grilling dinner → Relaxing with a local beer after exploring the city Guest access The main floor of our home features three comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. There is a full bath conveniently located on the main floor, as well as an additional full bath in the finished basement. You'll also enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio, perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco. If needed, we also have a twin bed and air mattress available for extra sleeping arrangements, which we’re happy to set up for you upon request. Other things to note Pets: Pets are welcome! The backyard is mostly fenced, but supervision is recommended. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets indoors and outdoors. Quiet Hours: Out of respect for our neighbors, quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. Snowy Days: In winter, we hire a local teen who comes and shovels the driveway when there is over 2" of snow. We also provide a shovel. Parking: There’s room for up to 3 vehicles in the single-lane driveway, plus additional street parking if needed. A Final Note: This is a well-loved home with character, not a brand-new or luxury property. Guests who appreciate space, comfort, a great yard, and a relaxed neighborhood tend to have the best experience here. We’re local, responsive hosts and happy to help if anything comes up during your stay.
