A gorgeous 2 bedroom self contained garden cottage located in the corner of our 28 acre property situated in a Golf and Wildlife gated estate. 30 min from Kilimanjaro Airport & 45 from Arusha Town. Stunning, peaceful & secure location from which to unwind. Walk amongst wildlife & natural fauna, incredible birdlife as well as resident bushbabies which come for feeding each evening, watch polo or play a round of golf. Spectacular views of both Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru from the property. The space There are three self contained self-catering cottages on the property available for holidays stays, Bushbaby Cottage , Bibi's Cottage and The Stables. All cottages have private gardens and are stand alone. Bushbaby Cottage is a stand alone cottage with a lush private garden which offers a secluded and comfortable place to totally relax and immerse yourselves in nature. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with walk in showers. there is a kitchenette with gas cooking hob, microwave, fridge and all the kitchen ware required for self-catering. The cottage is wheelchair friendly. Inverter and generator available incase of power outage. The cottage is situated under large trees and lush tropical plants filled with singing birds, monkeys, squirrels and night time special visits from the elusive bushbabies (Galago primates) . Outside seating area and bbq as well as lounger on the patio from which to relax, read and watch the birds and wildlife. We can arrange airport transfers and also day trips in a private 4x4 safari vehicle, shopping, sight seeing and day trips to the Hot Springs, Arusha National Park and Tarangire National Park Guest access Access to the entire garden cottage, the main house where I live is located 50 meters from the cottage. This is a private house, although we happily welcome you over when we are there. Staff 24 hours on the property. Safe and enjoyable walks on the farm and estate. Polo Club next door is currently only open on a Wednesday for social fun field hockey. Kilimanjaro Golf Club is at the bottom of the estate and boasts a magnificient 18 hole coarse. Help yourself to vegetables and herbs from the garden, fresh eggs available from our chickens and shopping can be arrange on request. Other things to note The cottage is self catering so you will need to provide your own meals and keep the cottage clean. I can arrange for daily cleaning service at a small fee as well as laundry. Longer stays will have cleaning and laundry service once per week. The cottage is on a wildlife estate which offers incredible opportunities to walk up close to zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, antelope, tiny diki dik, monkeys, magnificent eland and the rare gerenuk. Miles of safe space to go running, walking and exploring. This is a self catering cottage. Basics will be provided to settle you in and I can do shopping to stock up for your visit if required. We have 3 very friendly loving dogs who will visit you at the cottage and accompany you on walks. We have a few cows, sheep chickens and geese on the farm, fresh eggs available from our chickens and veggies from the garden. If you are looking for nightlife (apart from the call off bushbabies and hoot of owls) this is not the place to be - though Wednesday evening is fun hockey and polo at the Polo Club and Friday night is Golf Club bbq and drinks - we are in the countryside on an estate with a small community which will warmly welcome you.
