Mahogany House

The Mahogany Vacation House is a native and cabin style accomodation for exclusive use. It is located Barili in the mountain boundary of Carcar and Barili, Cebu. It is 43 km away from Cebu City. It is perfect for those who want to experience provincial life. The accomodation is ideal for family bonding while enjoying fresh air, cooler temperature and the relaxing sight of greenery all around. The space The Mahogany Vacation House is set along the national road and is nestled in a 3,000 square meter fenced lot surrounded by pole bamboos. Before BOOKING the place, please read first the details and House Rules of the place: Guests who will book this place will have the private use of the entire property. It has 3 airconditioned rooms and 1 fan room. The Main Cabin has two rooms. The main room (w/ bathroom inside) and Tower Room (fan room). The Second Cabin has two airconditioned rooms with 2 bathrooms adjacent to the cabin. The Vacation House has the following amenities: ~3 airconditioned rooms and 1 fan room (Tower Room). ~Only the main room has a bathroom inside the room. The 3 other rooms, the bathrooms are outside but near the rooms. ~Main Cabin: Room 1 (1 king sized bed and 1 double bed); Room 2 or Tower Room ( 2 double floor bed) ~Second Cabin: Room 3 (1 king sized bed and 1 double bed) and Room 4 ( 1 king sized bed and 1 double bed) ~The place has plenty of extra matresses, single and double sized matresses depending on the guests’ sleeping arrangements. ~ 4 full bathrooms ~Swimming Pool with Jacuzzi, size: 5x12m, 3.5 feet shallow, 4.5 feet depth end. (Open from 7AM-11PM) ~Outdoor Movie Screening ~Two cottages ~Bell Tent with Platform ~ Bonfire area ~Tree house with 2 hammocks. ~ WIFI-Starlink (up to 200 mbps Average Speed) ~Flat TV with NETFLIX for the main cabin only. ~Bluetooth Music Speaker ~We provide towels, bedsheets, pillows, blankets, soap, shampoo, and tissue paper. ~Car Parking ~Fully functional kitchen with utensils, frying pans, plates, spoons, forks, glasses, etc. It also has a refrigerator, stove, rice cooker, microwave, and grill area-charcoal not provided. ~Hot & cold water dispenser with free 20 gallons of purified water. ~We don’t serve food but guests can bring food or cook in the kitchen with NO CORKAGE FEE. Guests must bring their own condiments and cooking ingredients. NOTE: ~All guests must be declared regardless of age except Infant. ~We charge/count guests whether or not they are staying overnight. -We charge guests after 16 @ 450 per pax per night payable on site. Our maximum is 25 pax only including children. -We only allow rebooking or change of date/s, if request is made 3 weeks prior to the booked date/s. ~For guests with Seniors, they need to climb the stairs (7 steps) to enter the main cabin. The place also has an uneven surface and is slippery during rainy season. The place is not ideal for persons with limited mobility due to the native design of the cabin. ~During rainy season, we will provide insect spray and repellant. ~The place is a simple vacation house. We do not have the facilities to host weddings and other big events with caterers and bands. We only allow simple birthday parties and similar occasions. ~We allow pets but you have to clean their poop. ~Nearest public market and 7 Eleven convenience store is 2 kilometers or 3-5 minutes by car. -The place has one caretaker tasked to operate the pool and water pump. Guest access Guests have access to the whole place.
