As concerns food, we specialize in vegetarian and local cuisine and we also offer poultry and fish options. We offer a daily dinner special at a low cost. Our farm produces plants and fruit that we use in the preparation of delicious and fresh food and beverages . Our guests have access to our restaurant, lounge area and also to our swimming pool on a complimentary basis. We have a full-service restaurant and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are about a 30 minute drive from the twin towns of San Iganacio—Santa Elena allowing guests proximity to these areas as well as all of the benefits of lodging in an authentic jungle habitat. Within 2 miles or 10 minutes of the village is a butterfly farm and horseback riding farm. We are approximately a 45 minute drive to Barton Creek Cave a natural cave and archaeological. We are in proximity to several internationally recognized attractions including Caracol, one of the most spectacular Mayan sites, Big Rock Falls, Rio on the Pools and Rio Frio Cave. We are situated 30 minutes from San Ignacio and an hour from Belmopan which means that our guests have access to all of the attractions in these areas. We strongly advise that you rent a vehicle if your stay exceeds 2-3 days as there is no public transportation system in Belize. Taxis are affordable and there are private buses though schedules are not systematic. We offer transfers to Georgeville by vehicle for US$13 one way for up to 4 guests from 7:30am to 4pm. From Georgeville there is a bus to San Ignacio or Belmopan. Calico Jack's offers transfers to San Ignacio Market area/Cayo Welcome Center for a price of US$17 per person one way for a minimum of 2 guests. The list prices do not include a 9% hotel tax in accordance with the laws of Belize as implemented by the Belize Tourism Board. This accommodations' tax will be paid directly upon check in and is not factored into the prices posted. Also at check in guests are required by law to register and sign a liability waiver.
