Our pet friendly Lower Berne Chalet offers a king bedroom with a desk, one full bath, living room, and a well-appointed kitchen including all the convenience of home. Hurricane Helene tried to throw us a curveball, but we’re thrilled to announce that our property emerged unscathed—just a few trees took a tumble, and they’ve already been tidied up. We’ve got all the essentials back in place: power, water, and internet are fully up and running, so you’ll feel right at home. The roads are clear as a sunny day, making it a breeze to get to and from our doorstep. And here’s the cherry on top: many of the local restaurants and attractions are open and eager to welcome you with open arms. Whether you’re looking to kick back and relax or dive into some local adventures, we’ve got everything ready to make your stay nothing short of fantastic. The Lower Berne Chalet is located only 2 miles from Downtown Asheville on Beaucatcher Mountain surrounded by trees, near a variety of hiking trails for you and your pup to enjoy. Include you'll appreciate the free Wi-Fi with high-speed internet, as well as 2 Large screen Roku TVs loaded with Spectrum's new streaming app offering 250 live cannels. We provide fresh baked dog biscuits, dog bowls, dog towels and blankets. Dogs love us! PLEASE NOTE: This unit allows up to 2 dogs only (no weight limit), no cats. There is a pet fee for pets accompanying you on your trip, $25.00 per night, per pet. Please let us know the number of dogs, size and breed when booking and we'll request the pet fee through Airbnb. No smoking inside the home. There is an outdoor smoking area provided. Guest access You will have access to the lower level, 1 bedroom , bath vacation rental. We don't use keys, instead the door has an electronic lock with a key code, so you can let yourself in when you arrive. The Lower Berne Chalet has parking for one vehicle. **Note the road is narrow, and not suitable for large vehicles or RV's. Other things to note This is the lower level of a duplex, so you may hear a some sounds from upstairs, and most of the time it is not an issue. It may not be right for you if you are a light sleeper.
